At least 10 students were injured as criminals attacked Dhaka Dental College’s hostel in city’s Mirpur area on Friday night.
Amongst the injured, seven were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
College students told banglanews miscreants harassed a female student of the college around 7pm and also beat up two boys for protesting against the deed.
Later, a gang of 18-20 criminals attacked the students’ hostel over the same feud around 8pm, injuring 10 people on the spot.
Besides, additional police were deployed in the area to bring the situation under control.
Meanwhile, students took out a procession in protesting against the matter in the campus around 10:30pm.
Principal Dr S M Iqbal visited students at the hospital and confirmed the matter to banglanews around 10:45pm.bdnews24.com
