Comilla, Oct 7 – Miscreants exploded a crude bomb in front of Burichong Awami League office in Comilla district on Saturday night. A gang of miscreants set fire to a tyre in front of the AL office around 10:45 pm and blasted a crude bomb, said Abul Chanda Biswas, officer-in-charge of Burichong Police Station, quoting locals.
The miscreants fled the scene when night guards appeared at the spot hearing the blast.
On information, police rushed in and recovered four crude bombs and four Molotov bomb-like objects from the scene. – UNB
