Cultural programme held at BAU

Mymensingh, March 23 – Trivuz, a cultural organization of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in Mymensingh organized a cultural programme at Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin Auditorium on the campus recently.They organized cultural programme, title ‘Troyee-12’, on the occasion of their annual programme on the campus. Last year, they organized ‘Troyee-11’.
They organized an amazing cultural programme with solo dance, group dance, stage drama, song and fashion shows. All performers were students and teachers of organization.
They devoted the cultural program to homage to father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur rahman on his 98 th birthday and the National Children’s day. They called the young generation to convey the authentic history of liberation war and thereby knowing the historic speech of Bangabandhu. Over two thousand-strong audience enjoyed the programmes in the auditorium.
Prior to staging of the drama, a short discussion was held at the auditorium. BAU Students affairs adviser Prof Dr S D Chowdhury attended the programme as chief guest while Anik Talukdar, general secretary of Trivuz presided over it.
The Students affairs adviser also called the students to involve the cultural organizations and performs any kinds of stage performance to grow the self-confidence.
Among others, acting president of Trivuz, Associate Professor Dr Tanvir Rahman of Aquaculture department spoke on the occasion. – BAU Correspondent
