A day labourer was electrocuted at Nandibari village under Muktagacha upazila of the
district on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Sukur Ali, 22, son of Nawsher Ali of Monirambari village
under the same upazila.
Police and local sources said, Sukur Ali was electrocuted when he came in contact with
a live electric wire while cleaning the roof top of a three-storey building of one Tipu
Sultan, a businessman of Nandibari around 10 am.
Critically injured Sukur was rushed to Muktagacha Upazila Health Complex where the
on-duty doctors declared him dead. -BSS, Mymensingh
