A view exchange meeting between the Bagerhat district administration and the local journalists of both electronic and print medias was held in the local Circuit House with Muhammad Shukur Ali, Deputy Commissioner of Bagerhat in the chair on Tuesday . Al-haj Adv Mir Shawkat Ali Badsha, the founder president of Bagerhat Press Club and MP of Bagerhat constituency-2 spoke on the occasion as the chief guest. In his speech the MP expected that the local journalists should maintain a good relation with the present district administration as like as the past and vice versa for the better administration of the district. The meeting was also addressed among others by Adv. Md. Mozaaffor Hossain, president of Bagerhat Press Club, M. Akbor Tutul, Secretary of the same. Prof. ABM. Mosharraf Husain, its former president. Adv. Md. Shah Alam Tuku, ex-president, SM. Zakaria Mahmud, Vice-president of the club and others spoke on the occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner, in his speech exchanged his views with journalists on the problems and prospects of the district, the role of media and law and order. Shah Alam Sardar, Deputy Secretary of the branch of the Local Govt. and Additional District Magistrate were also present in the meeting. Habibul Haq Khan, ADC (General) conducted the meeting.
