Myensingh – A dialogue Regional City was held on Tuesday at Syed Nazrul Islam Bhavan of Bangladesh agricultural University (BAU) in Mymensing. The programme was organised by the Mymensingh and the Sherpur municipality, World Vision Bangladesh and 16 NGOs of Mymensingh and Sherpur districts.AHM Lokman, chief executive officer (deputy-secretary) of Sherpur district was presented as a chief guest while Md Golam Kibria, mayor of Sherpur municipality, Sagor Marandi, field director of World Vision of Mymensingh division, Oronno E Chiran, coordinator of Sara organization were present as a special guest with Ekramul Haque Titu, mayor of Mymensingh municipality presided over the programme.
In the dialogue, government private school teachers, students, school governing committees, local organizations environmentalists, journalists and councillors of municipalities participated at the programme. – BAU Correspondent
