Dhaka – Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) has expressed deep shock at the death of journalist Muhammad Menhazur Rahman, former diplomatic correspondent of The Daily Inqilab and a former DCAB member, Unb news agency reported on Friday.In a condolence message on Thursday, DCAB President Angur Nahar Monty and General Secretary Pantho Rahman recalled the contribution of Rahman to the journalism arena.
They also prayed for eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Journalist Rahamn breathed his last at his Kalabagan residence in the city on Wednesday night. He was 80.
Rahman was buried at his family graveyard at his own village in Dinajpur.
