Dhaka – Detective Branch of police arrested a suspected drug peddler along with 120 Yaba tablets from Forest Department road in Magura on Sunday night.Tipped off that Mirazul Islam, 25, son of Shahar Ali of Dorimagura village, has been selling drugs illegally in the district town, a team of the DB police conducted a drive.During the drive, the DB members arrested Miraz along with 120 pieces of the contraband pills, said Ilius Hossian, officer-in-charge of Magura Police Station.A case was filed in this connection. Miraz was also accused in 10 drug cases filed with different police stations. He will be produced before a district court today and investigation is going on, the OC added.UNB news agency
