Dhaka – Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive arrested a drug peddler with 400 bottles of phensidyl from Baikari border in Sadar upazila in Satkhira on Sunday morning.
They also seized seven kg of silver ornaments from the same area in an abandoned condition.The arrestee is Robiul Islam, 28, son of Lutfar Rahman of Kushkhali village in Sadar upazila.
BGB Baikari Camp company commander Siddiq Hossain said tipped-off, a team conducted a drive in the area and arrested Robiul along with 400 bottles of Phensidyl.Later, they recovered seven kg of silver ornaments in an abandoned condition, he said.UNB
