Police arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 46 bottles of
Indian Phensidyl syrup from Mongla port bus terminal area on Monday
afternoon.
The arrested was identified as Kawsar Munshi, 26, son of Iftekhar
Munshi of Babukhana Road area in Sadar upazila of Khulna district.
Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of Mongla Police Station, said a team
of police, acting on secret information, conducted a drive in the area
and arrested Kowsar in the afternoon.
Police also searching his bag recovered 46 bottles of Phensidyl.
A case was filed against him with the Mongla PS under the Narcotics
