We really appreciate the comments of finance minister regarding education in his speech made in the budgetary session. The finance minister said, we have been lagging behind in the secondary education for a long time, severe shortage of quality teachers and the quality of education in this sector is very low. This government has not taken any initiative to recruit quality teachers in this sector rather the government has been recruiting candidates from the members of awami league without considering their qualifications.This is happening not only in this sector partyin other sectors as well. Not very long ago, the government offered to enlist candidates for recruiting doctors from the members of ruling. It was an open secret. On the other hand, the government has reportedly been tightening its belt in this sector every year.
