The prize distribution ceremony of Ekti Bari Ekti Khamar project was
held at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference room here yesterday
Monday. A total of ten officials of the project who showed good
performance for implementing the project work have given prizes. Each
official received prize bond worth Tk 1000, crest and certificateThe
ten officials of the project who received prizes are two best
beneficiaries of the project (One male and one female), two best
president, tow best Manager of the Samity under the project (One male
and one female) One best field organizer, one best upazila coordinator
of the project, one best upazila Rural Development officer and one
best union parishad chairman. Deputy Commissioner of Narsingdi Obaidul
Azam attended the ceremony as chief guest and distributed prizes.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Suraiya Begum was present in
the function as special guest while Deputy Director of BRDB Shamsul
Alam presided over it.
The Deputy Commissioner said the main goal of Ekti Bari Ekti Khamar
Project programme is to attain the target of alleviating poverty He
said successful implementation of the project would sensure qualities
change in the livelihood of the rural people.
