Dhaka – An elderly man was found dead in a water body adjacent to Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Bijoypur area of Sadar Dakhshin upazila in Comilla on Friday night.The deceased was identified as Abdul Malek, 70, son of late Ansar Ali, a resident of Kismat village in Bijoypur union.Nazrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Dakhshin Police Station, said that Malek went missing on August 12 after he went out from the house along with his cattle for grazing it.The following day, his family members filed a general diary.Locals spotted his body in the water body at night and informed police.Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Comilla Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.UNB news agency
