The Pir Shaheb of Charmonai and Ameer of the Bangladesh Islami Andolan Mufti Sayed Moulana Rezaul Karim has said that the government would have to arrange elections only under a non-party neural government.The Pir Shaben said that the government would have to take the responsibility for going ahead to hold elections without paying heed to the opinion of the larger section of the people.
Moulana Rezaul Karim said that the people had expected that the President would take a mediating role which he failed to do. The failure of the President to play the role of a guardian at this critical juncture is a cause anxiety and concern to the people, he said in a statement issued to the press.
