With the slogan “Helping hands, empowering lives” A Caravan of Peace
(ACP); a volunteer organisation of the Shahjalal University of Science
and Technology (SUST), Sylhet has formed its 4th executive committee
on the 23rd of July, Tuesday.
Campus sources said, on Tuesday evening the programme was held at the
1001 no. room of the academic building “D”. Research report for the
activities of 2012-2013 session was unveiled, special prize giving
ceremony was also held.
The 19-member executive committee were formed with Mahmudur Rahman
Onik and Rahul Chakma as the President and General Secretary
respectively. Other members of the committee are Observer Samiya
Rahman Sharmin, Vice-Presidents Aminul Haque, Mojibul Islam;
Assistant General Secretary Ibrahim Kholil, Organizing Secretary
Mrinmoy Das Jhuton, Assistant Organizing Secretary Amina Akther Rupa,
Treasurer Khondoker Limana Naznin Nupur, Press and Publicity Secretary
Rasel Raju; Executive Members Riyad Hossain Sharif, Thufazzol Hossain,
Partho Zuel, Shakhawat Hossain Tareq, Abdullah Al-Murshed, Paplu
Chowdhury, Rahel Chowdhury, Ziyaul Islam, Sukhanto Chowdhury.
Besides, ‘ACP Excellence in Volunteering Award” was given to the
former President Samsul Islam and ‘ACP Volunteer of the Award” given
