‘Fagun Haway’ to be released on February 8

Actor turned film-maker Tauquir Ahmed’s upcoming film, “Fagun Haway – In spring Breeze,” will be released on February 8 next year.The announcement was made during the contract signing ceremony between Walton and Tauquir’s production company, Nokkhotro Cholochitro, on Friday night at the Six Seasons Hotel in Dhaka, reports UNB.
The first look and poster of the film was inaugurated by Bipasha Hayat and Amin Khan in the presence of the entire cast and crew of the film. The trailer and songs of the film were also shown.
Tauquir said he has tried to provide everything in the film according to the demands of each sequence and scene without any compromise, which makes his film special and different from others.
Actor Nusrat Imrose Tisha, who played the lead in Tauquir’s last film “Haldaa,” has again taken the lead role in this film. She will be seen in the film alongside newcomer Siam Ahmed,a Dhallywood sensation .
The film will be the first project for the promising actor Siam under the direction of Tauquir Ahmed. The hero of the film said: “It was exciting for me to be a part of the film and I also want to be part of the director’s next one.”
Actress Tisha said: “I am always for good projects. So, there is no reason to miss being a part of this excellent film.”
The film is produced by Impress Telefilm and inspired by Tito Rahman’s “Bou Kotha Kow,” a short story based on the 1952 language movement.
Apart from Siam and Tisha, renowned actors Abul Hayat, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Rownak Hasan, Faruque Ahmed, Saju Khadem and Shahadat Hossain will also be seen in the film.
Indian actor Yashpal Sharma, who has starred in Bollywood films like “Lagaan” and “Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi,” will play the character of a Pakistani police officer in the film.
Acclaimed director Tauquir Ahmed who made his directorial debut with the liberation war based film “Joyjatra” in 2004, has picked the language movement as the theme of his 8th feature film.
Films directed by Tauquir are “Joyjatra” (2004), “Rupkothar Golpo” (2006), “Daruchini Dwip” (2007), “Oggatonama” (2016), and “Haldaa” (2017).
