Police arrested a fake member of Detective Branch (DB) of police from a restaurant at College Road in the town on Friday.The deceased was identified as Tuhin Biswash, 27, son of late Intaj Ali Biswash of Dariapur village in Sreepur upazila.
Police said Tuhin identifying himself as a member of DB police, have long been involved in several criminal activities.
On Friday morning, he went to Al Mansur Hotel in the area and took Tk5,000 from two people, when they were staying in the hotel, identifying himself as a DB man.On information, police rushed in and arrested Tuhin. A case was filed in this connection, UNB, Magura
