Dhaka – A new 30-member partial central committee of Jatiyatabadi Samajaik Sangskritik Sangstha, the cultural associate of the BNP, has been formed with Dr Mamun Ahmed, a former general secretary of Dhaka University Teachers Association as its president and Helal Khan as its general secretary.BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir approved the committee at he behest of party chairperson Khaleda Zia Thursday.
The partial committee includes 22 vice presidents, five joint general secretaries and an organizing secretary.
Of them, Babul Ahmed has been elected senior vice president, Zakir Hossain Rokon as senior joint general secretary and Chowdhury Majahar Ali (Shiba Sanu) as organising secretary.
The other vice presidents include Shairul Kabir Khan, Rahija Khanom Jhunu, Noor Uddin Ahmed Nuru, Moniruzzaman Monir, Anisul Islam Sani, Ithun Babu and Salahuddin Mollah. – Staff Reporter
