Popular actors Nusraat Faria and Bappy will team up for film-maker Dipankar Dipon’s upcoming film, “Dhaka 2040.”
The working title of the film is “Dhaka-2040” but it might be subject to change, according to a source.
Nusraat and Bappy will star opposite each other for the first time, and the duo are maintaining confidentiality regarding the film.
The film shoot is scheduled to start from Friday at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (FDC).
It will be produced by Sonnet Kumar Saha under the banner of Studio Eight Entertainments.
Bappy is apparently trying to prepare himself for his role while Nusraat Faria has not revealed much.
Nusraat Faria started her career as a model before becoming an actor. She gained immense success through her work in drama, advertisement, and film.
Recently, the director, Dipankar Dipon, also announced he will be directing a new film based on the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), an elite anti-crime and anti-terrorism unit of the Bangladesh Police.
The film—titled “Operation Sundarbans—” is based on the pirates who dwelled deep in the forests and swamps of Sundarbans and were recently caught in a RAB operation.
