Faridpur is set to enter into the 3G (Third Generation) mobile network coverage with the formal inauguration of the government owned mobile operator Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd next week.
Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Engineer Khondoker Mosharraf Hossain will inaugurate 3G mobile network at a function to be held at local Kabi Jasimuddin hall on October 18.The network will be formally inaugurated through video call with Post and Telecommunication Minister Advocate Sahara Khatun.
On the day, a new service centre of Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd. will be inaugurated here to ensure better services for the customers. The Teletalk is the first mobile operator of the country to expand its 3G latest technology facilities in the area. –BSS, Faridpur
