A farmer was killed and another injured by a lightning strike at Kadpur village in Kalaroa upazila on Sunday morning.The deceased was identified as Ramzan Ali Sarder,19, son of Mita Sarder, a resident of the village while the injured as Mizan Sarder,60, a resident of the same village.Police and witnesses said a streak of lightning hit Ramzan and Mizan at about 10:30 am when they were working in a paddy field, leaving Ramzan dead on the spot and Mizan injured.Injured Mizan was rushed to a local clinic. -UNB, Satkhira
