On the occasion of the 45th Victory Day poetry recitations were arranged at the Natok Sarani of Bangladesh Mahilla Samity Auditorium. Farzana Karim the sole performer of the evening did not only recite poems written by herself but also took part in presenting a drama. As the spirit of the evening was enkindled by the spirit of the Victory Day, Farzana naturally started with poems on Victory Day. This first phase of recitations was titled “Shudhu Tomari Jonno.” Thus Farzana did not only focus on the love people of the country should share for the historic Victory Day of 1971 but also on the love people should share about everything that come from the heart. A total of nineteen poems were rendered in keeping with musical beats to keep the audience sensitised.

Then Prakritojon’s drama Prempatra was presented with Farzana in the cast. The drama builds on the urge to propagate the spirit of mutual human devotion against all odds. The drama has been performed more than twenty times before.

Farzana has previously performed in Dhaka and Chittagong at the invitation of Anandabazar Patrika. This was her fourth performance. Currently she is employed as a news producer in Channel i. Hamdard organised the event with MK Group and Girona Bangladesh.
