A man and his son were killed as a truck hit their bicycle in Khulakathi area at Anantobala village in Shibganj upazila of the district on Sunday.The deceased were identified as Abu Taher, 35, and his son Riyad Hossain, 8, resident of the village.Police said Taher along with his two sons were riding the bicycle in the area when the truck hit them around 11am, leaving Taher and his son Riyad dead on the spot and his another son injured.The injured was admitted to Upazila Health Complex.Ahsan Habib, officer-in-charge of Shibganj Police Station, confirmed the incident.Police seized the truck but and the driver and helper fled the scene.UNB, Bogra
