FBCCI urges judicious electricity use during Ramadan

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) on Sunday urged the shop owners and managements of the shopping malls to abide by the decision of keeping shops open till 8pm during the first 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan. The apex trade body also urged all to be cautious in consuming electricity during the month of fasting as the electricity demand goes up during the period.
It also requested all to use ACs, air coolers in limited scale from Iftar to Tarahbi Namaj time for ensuring smooth supply of electricity at that important time
