Jan7: A devastating fire broke out at Lichutala Slum at Mohakhali in the city on Monday night.
A fire service official told banglanews that the blaze began around 8:00pm at the slum adjacent to Metropolitan Hospital in the area.
The official said, on information, some 11 firefighting units from different fire service stations of the capital rushed in and trying to douse the blaze. Banglanews24.com
