Mustafiz returns home from UK

Dhaka – Bangladesh’s pace bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahman returned home from London, UK on Monday after a successful
shoulder surgery.He arrived at the Shahjalal International Airport at around 11: 45 am.The cutter-master had a surgery on his left shoulder on August 11, under the orthopedic surgeon Andrew Wallace at Bupa Cromwell Hospital and had a check up on Wednesday (Aug 17) before his departure for Dhaka on Sunday,UNB News Agency Reported.
Talking to reporters after his arrival, the 20-year old boy of Satkhira expressed his disappointment saying, “I am very upset. I hoped I would be able to play the remaining matches for Sussex, but my injury cut it short.””Physically I am better now. My condition is improving. The surgeon (Andrew Wallace) suggested me to follow some instructions, and now I have to follow those properly,” Mustafizur said.Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief physician Dr Debashish Chowdhury also returned to Dhaka with Mustafizur. Earlier, Debashish informed that Mustafizur Rahman’s condition is pretty well after the surgery. “Wounded surface has already starting to dry up. He will need 5 to 6 months to get full-fitness to play again,” he said.Mustafizur left for UK on July 20 (Wednesday) to play seven matches for the county side Sussex in the NatWest T20 Blast and one-day competition, but complained shoulder injury after his second match for the Sussex on July 22. He was ruled out from the squad for the rest of the Sussex’s T20 and one-day campaign with a SLAP (Superior Labrum from Anterior to Posterior) tear.
