Mymensingh, Sept 23 – The university proctor body of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) handed over four outsiders with narcotics (Gaja) to police on Saturday night. Sources said, around 10:30 pm university proctor Prof Dr Md Atikur Rahman Khokon instructed police team of anti-narcotics campaign on campus. From the drive, Sofiqul Islam of Fisheries Mor, Abdus Sattar of Karim Bhavan area, Mamun Mia of Sesh Mor area, Ismail Hossain of Vangamari area were detained while allegedly taking drugs at the university campus.
Proctor Prof Dr Md Atikur Rahman Khokon said that, no objection will be given regarding the anti-drug drive which will continue in the university. – BAU Correspondent
