Rajshahi, Sept 23 – Professor Dr Rabiul Islam has been made new provost of Shaheed Suhrawardy Hall of Rajshahi University.
Outgoing provost Professor Dr. Anisur Rahman handed over the charge to him on Sunday formally.
Former Student Adviser of the university Professor Zannatul Ferdous, former student Adviser Sadequl Arefin Matin and many teachers and student were present there.
Dr. Rabiul Islam joined as a lecturer of the Social Work department of the university in 2001.
Later, he took his MSS degree from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on 2010.
He completed his PHD from the Mcquire University of Australia in 2015. – RU Correspondent
