Dhaka – Ganojagaran Manch has started to gather at the Shahbagh intersection from Monday evening on the eve of verdict of the appeal case of Jamaat central leader Quader Mollah.Gonojagoron Manch spokesperson Imran H Sarkar said, “If the verdict fails to reflect the expectations of the nation, we will announce a tough programme.”
Ganojagaran Manch leaders and activists will stay at its venue until pronouncement of the verdict and raise slogans, he said.
The Appellate division is expected to deliver the verdict early Tuesday on appeals filed against the sentence and conviction passed against Jamaat leader Abdul Quader Mollah in crimes against humanity case.
On February 5, the ICT-2 sentenced Abdul Quader Mollah to life in prison for his involvement in crimes against humanity during liberation war in 1971. – banglanews24.com
