Dhaka – Police recovered the decomposed body of a garment worker from an apartment in South Badda in the city on Tuesday noon. The deceased was identified as Shaheeda Begum, 25, wife of Anis Miah. Shaheeda used to live in the rented apartment on the second floor of a building in South Badda.
Sub-inspector Rahmat Ali of Badda Police Station said residents of other apartments in the building noticed bad smell form the second floor of the building and informed police. Later, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body of Shaheeda, the SI added. The body was whisked off to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. (UNB)
