Benapole – A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide by taking pesticide in a huff with the parents in Jhikargachha upazila of Jessore district on Wednesday night.Family sources said Asma Khatun, 15, daughter of Akbar Ali, a resident of Matikomra village, took pesticide around 10:30 pm after her parents had scolded her over her inattentiveness in the study.Asma Khatun, student of Class lX of Shimulia St Luis Secondary School, was sent to Jessore Medical College in a critical condition.She died at hospital early Thursday.
