Dhaka – Gono Bishwabidyalay (University) and Bangladesh University of Textitles moved into the semifinal of the United Group Faraaz Inter-University Gold Cup Football Tournament eliminating their rivals in the qurterfinals at Kamalpur Stadium here on Wednesday.
In the day’s first quarterfinal, Gono (Bishwabidyalay) University eliminated holders Fareast International University beating them by 2-0 goals, both scored by Sajib Rajbonshi in the 3rd and 34th minutes of the match.
In the day’s other quarterfinal, Bangladesh University of Textitles beat Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University by a solitray goal scored by Nafis Ahmed in the very 3rd minute of the match.UNB
