‘Govt. may use part of budget money in election’

Former caretaker government adviser Dr Akbar Ali Khan feared that huge amount of money from proposed budget might be used by ruling party in next election. He came up with the apprehension while addressing a budget review meeting at CIRDAP auditorium in the capital on Sunday.
Dr Akbar Ali said, “Ruling government may use a large portion of budget money in their election. So the election commission should impose rules and regulations so that they can’t go for it.”
“Election Commission is responsible to check any unexpected expense in elections,” he added.
