The government is playing ‘games’ with the Jatiya Party in the new Parliament formed through a ‘one-sided’ election, BNP spokesperson Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said.He also flayed Jatiya Party chief HM Ershad for contesting the polls despite announcing a boycott.
“The government is performing a circus with the Jatiya Party as a puppet opposition party in Parliament,” Fakhrul said at an event in Thakurgaon on Friday.
“Ershad shamelessly took part in the polls even after having said people would spit on him if he did.
