Halda gets censor board’s approval

Halda has got the sensor board’s approval. Tauquir Ahmed who is currently in Tunisia has confirmed the news. He has also noted that members of the board have praised the film. Tauquir is currently participating in the 28th Carthage Film Festival with his last hit film “Oggatonama.” Halda deems to become another success for the director. He has claimed that the promotion works of the film now has no hindrances as the film has got uncut censorship. He will be returning towards the middle of this month to take part in the promotions. The film has an official release date of December 1 for going on show at 50 cinema halls across the country. It has also eyes on cineplexes in sixteen more countries.

Halda has primarily been made with the local dialect of Chittagong. Focusing on the river “Halda” the largest natural fish habitat the film explores the tides and ebbs of riverine people with the changing season for fishing. With story from Azad Bulbul and screenplay by Tauquir himself the film casts Mosharraf Karim, Jahid Hasan, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Dilara Zaman, Shahed Ali, Runa Khan and more.
