Currently ZEE Bangla is airing a very entertaining and educative reality show-‘Happy Parents Day’ hosted by the renowned film and theatre personality, Mr. Debshankar Haldar. Whenever time permits I watch this unique program because such type of program appreciating parents’ love, affection and their sacrifices for bringing and retaining smiles on children’s face is a first of its kind on television. This is a program where children recalls their parents great sacrifices for their happiness and success and try to fulfill some of the many wishes of their parents through playing a quiz game.Recently celebrated singer Kumar Sanu came to the show with parents from old age home (as his own parents are no more on this earth). He shared his early day’s memories and hardship they had to pass through due to poverty. But Sanu never felt humiliation but was very attached to his parents and siblings. The famous singer fulfilled many dream of his parents and others. But he still feels very sad to reckon that he could not save his parents from untimely death due to some miscalculations of reputed hospitals.
I look forward to see HAPPY PARENTS DAY for long time perpetuating values, love and hearty feelings for the parents.
