Hasina: A Daughter’s Tale screened in Durban

Hasina: A Daughter’s Tale, a film based on the life of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina screened at the Durban Film Festival in South Africa today. The film will also be shown at the festival on July 24.
Director Piplu Khan’s docu-fiction covers the events after the tragic assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and the incredible story of his daughters Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana. The film also highlights the two sisters’ lives after the event.
The screening was confirmed by the Centre for Research and Information (CRI), Bangladesh Awami League’s research organisation.
Marking the 40th anniversary of the Durban film festival, the organizers will celebrate a 40-year history of film and the film industry.
The festival  be  be continued  till July 28.
