Dhaka, Sept 4 (UNB) – Turongomi’s latest production Ho Chi Minh will be premiered at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Thursday.
The production, scheduled for 7:30pm and 8:30pm, will have no entry fee.Ho Chi Minh is based on the life, journey and philosophy of the Vietnamese leader. This is going to be the first-ever biography dance theatre in the world.
Tickets are available at all outlets of BishwaRong and Studio Padma in New Iskaton. Tickets will also be available at the cash counter before the show.
Ho Chi Minh will be staged again at the National Theatre on September 6.
Turongomi premiered Waterness, the first-ever dance theatre in Bangladesh, on Jan 21. In the last four years, the repertory has brought many short length choreographies to its audience, but ‘Ho Chi Minh’ is the full-length dance theatre by Turongomi after Waterness.
Ho Chi Minh-Biography Dance Theatre is produced and performed by Turongomi Repertory Dance Theatre. The production is conceptualized, scripted, designed, choreographed and directed by Pooja Sengupta while music is done by Suman Sarkar. The production is supported by The Embassy of the SR of Vietnam in Bangladesh.UNB
