Chattogram, Apr 18 (UNB) – A housewife was burnt to death in a fire that broke out a dwelling house at Maijpara in city’s Patenga area on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Shahina Akter, 32, wife of Md Musa of the area.
A fire broke out at a house at Razarpukur Par around 10am and spread soon, said Jashim Uddin, assistant director of Chittagong Fire Service and Civil Defense.
On information, two firefighting units rushed there and extinguished the blaze.
They also recovered the charred body from inside the house.
