Police recovered the body of a housewife from Chapadah village in Sadar upazila on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Hosne Ara, wife of Babu Miah, a resident of the village. Gopal Chandra, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said Hosne Ara, daughter of Sadekul Islam of Kurarpara village, remained missing since Wednesday. As a bad odour was coming out from a ditch besides the house of Babu in the evening, locals informed police.Police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy at about 9:30 pm.Police also arrested Babu’s parents Moksed Ali and Romana Begum.A case was filed in this connection. -UNB, Gaibandha
