Jessore sadar thana police recovered the body of a housewife from her
bedroom at Nilganj Tatipara area in Jessore town on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Laboni Khatun, 25, wife of one Kabir
Sarder who lived in a rented house at Nilganj Tatipara area under
Jessore sadar upazila.Police sources said, Kabir and his wife Laboni
came from Kagojpukur area in Benapole port thana and were living in
the rented house since February.
Kabir went out of his house on Wednesday night but did not return
home. On Thursday morning neighbours found Laboni’s body lying in the
room.
Jessore Kotwali Model thana officer-in-charge (OC) Emdadul Haque said,
on information, a team of police rushed to the spot and recovered the
body.
Later, it was sent to Jessore-250 bed General Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
Police found several injury marks on the body.
A case was filed with the thana concerned in this connection.
