A meeting of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited was held at the Islami Bank Tower on Monday.
Mufti Sayed Ahmad, Vice-Chairman of the Committee and Muhaddis of Al Jamiatus Siddikiah Darul Ulum (Madrasah-e-Furfura Sharif), presided over the meeting.
IBBL Chairman Engineer Mustafa Anwar and its Managing Director Mohammad Abdul Mannan were present at the meeting.
Mufti Shamsuddin Zia, Muhaddis of Al-Jamiatul Islamia, Chittagong; Moulana Abdus Shaheed Naseem, President of Bangladesh Quran Shikkha Society; Moulana Mohiuddin Rabbani, Principal of Jamea Islamia Markajul Ulum Madrasah, and members of the Shairah Supervisory Committee attended the meeting.
Md Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, Deputy Managing Director, and Md Shamsul Huda, Executive Vice President of the bank, were also present.
The meeting took various decisions on compliance of Shariah and expressed satisfaction in overall activities of the bank.
