Dhaka – Police arrested an Indian citizen from Altapol village at Keshabpur upazila while he was trying to marry a Bangladeshi girl hiding his identity.The arrestee was identified as Pranatosh Mukherjee, son of Makhan Lal Mukherjee, a resident of Mollarparachotta village under Moheshghosh Police Station at 24 Parganas district in West Bengal of India.Later, police produced him before the court on Tuesday. Court sent Pranatosh to jail.Sub-inspector of Keshabpur Police station Tariqul Islam said hiding his identity Pranatosh built a relationship with a muslim girl from the area. On Monday he came to the village to marry that girl.Family members of the girl identified Prantash as an Indian citizen and a Hindu during the marriage ceremony.Later, on information, police arrested Pranatosh from the area.A case has been filed with Keshabpur Police Station in this connection.UNB news agency
