Benapole – Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive seized Indian goods worth TK 2.60 crore on Jessore-Benapole
highway in Amrakhali area of Benapole on Sunday night.Lt Col Mohammad Jahangir Hossain of BGB battalion-26 said on secret
information, a team of the border guards conducted the drive in the area around 10.30pm and seized two covered vans.Later, they recovered motor parts, electronic parts and jewelry ornaments worth TK 2.60 crore from the covered vans.The seized goods were deposited at Jessore customs godown.A divisional case was filed in this connection.(UNB)
