The inaugural ceremony of inter-varsity badminton and table tennis tournament was held on Friday afternoon in the gymnasium of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU).BAU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Ali Akbar inaugurated the tournament as chief guest at around 3:30pm on Friday.
Students affairs advisor Prof Dr Jasim Uddin khan presided over the programme while director of sports section of BAU delivered the vote of thanks.
A total 290 participants from 16 public universities are participating in this season of inter-varsity tournament.
