Activists of Jamaat –e- Islami and its student front Islami Chhatra
Shibir becoming agitated after awarding the death sentence by ICT to
Ali Ahsan Muzahid, one their top leaders accused for war crimes,
started ransacking vehicles on Barisal-Dhaka highway Wednesday noon.
Witnesses said after announcement of the verdict Jamaat-Shibir
activists at Chhoy Mile point started ransacking vehicles running on
the highway.
At least six vehicles including 4 buses were damaged by the JI-ICS
activists and police rushed to the spot controlled the situation.
