Journalist Kazi Siraj dies at 70

Journalist-columnist Kazi Siraj has died from cardiac failure. He was 70.
He breathed his last at his home in Banasree in the city at 10pm on Thursday, according to his family.
He is survived by his wife Bulu Akhter, a son and two daughters.

Kazi Siraj, a cousin of late Jatiya Party leader and former prime minister Kazi Zafar Ahmed, acted as editor of Bangla daily Dainik Dinkal for a long time.
He also worked as Dhaka bureau chief of Dainik Kishan. He had edited weekly Bibartan.
He wrote articles on politics in national dailies. He was also a regular face in TV talk shows.
