The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dhakil Certificate
(JDC) exams due on Nov 10, 11 and 12 have been rescheduled due to the
Opposition’s 72-hour nationwide strike beginning Sunday.
According to the new timetable, exams slated for Nov 10 will be held
on 14, those to be held on Nov 11 will take place on 16 and the ones
due on Nov 12 have been shifted to Nov 21.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid at a press conference on Saturday
said all the rescheduled exams will begin at 2pm.
“We are being forced to reschedule the exams. This pressure in
unfair,” the minister said criticising the Opposition 18-Party called
strike.
As many as 19,02,746 students are sitting for the JSC and JDC
examinations this year.
Earlier, the Nov 4 exams were re-scheduled to Nov 8, while the Nov 6
exams will now be held on Nov 9 in view of the Opposition sponsored
