Law Minister Anisul Huq today strongly condemned the bomb and arson attack on the residence and village home of the High Court Justices who passed an interim order not to broadcast or publish statement of fugitive accused BNP vice-chairman Tarique Rahman.
Condemning the dastardly act, the Law Minister said it only demonstrates terrorist nature of BNP and Tarique Rahman, an official release said.
“Such terrorist acts could not shake confidence or courage of our independent judiciary,” he said, adding that such acts would be dealt in line with the country’s law.Mewanwhile, addressing a function at the Shaheed Titumir College in the city on the day the law minister vowed to implement every decision taken by the courts, laws and rules framed against utterances in respect of Banganabdhu by BNP chief Begum Khaleda Zia and senior vice chairman of the party Tarique Rahman.
Anisul Huq expressed his anguish that Khaleda Zia and her eldest son Tarique Rahman made critical remarks about Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
