Police detained an advocate for his alleged support for Jamaat-Shibir men in committing anarchic and subversive activities last night.On a tip-off, a police team carried out a sudden raid in Chhotobangram area under Boalia Police Station in the city and arrested Advocate Ahammadur Rahman alias Roman, 42, around 9.30 pm.Alamgir Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Boalia Police Station, told journalists that Advocate Roman had long been assisting the Jamaat-Shibir outfits both financially and professionally.
